Edward L. Dean, PhD

Dr. Edward L. Dean is an Executive Consultant to SeaMe Systems, offering decades of leadership and technical expertise from a distinguished career in the aerospace and defense industries.

Born in Jackson, Mississippi and raised in Los Angeles, California, Dr. Dean spent 38 years in the Aerospace Industry, primarily with Hughes Aircraft Company, which later became Raytheon Systems Company (RSC). Throughout his career, he served in a variety of engineering, management, and executive leadership roles. Dr. Dean’s versatility was demonstrated through his transition from hands-on engineering into senior corporate leadership, including managing Corporate Field Office Business Operations for RSC in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey. In this role, he worked extensively with the U.S. Department of Defense and the U.S. Army, supporting initiatives in advanced military systems, engineering research and development, production programs, and corporate marketing.

He retired from the aerospace industry in 1998 following a highly successful career. Dr. Dean holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Management and Finance from Los Angeles State University. His professional experience provided deep expertise in Continuous Measurable Improvement (CMI) leadership, integrated product development, defense and aerospace marketing management, and international business ethics.

He also earned a Master’s Degree in Clinical Christian Counseling and a Doctorate in Clinical Christian Psychology, bringing a unique human-centered perspective to leadership, ethics, and organizational development.
